La Malène is located in the Cévennes National Park, a Unesco World Heritage site.
In the heart of the classified site of the Gorges du Tarn and Grands Causses, you will discover the Tarn, a river with limpid waters flowing through a deep and spectacular limestone canyon with its most famous site : the Détroits.
The Tarn has its source on the Mont Lozère and as soon as it leaves this granite mountain range, the river approaches the plateau of the Grands Causses.
In this limestone area, it has carved out a canyon between Quézac and Le Rozier, which is 400 to 600 metres deep and 53 kilometres long.
Thus, you are permanently close to a rich, abundant and preserved flora and fauna.
