That's it, back to school! The majority of the holidaymakers have left the Gorges du Tarn to return to the routine of work or the school bench... But this new school year has a different flavour for the people of our region. We are indeed lucky to live near this tourist site and to benefit from its attractions.

What outdoor activities can you do at the end of the summer?
In September, the weather is still good in our region. It is therefore the ideal time to take advantage one last time of all that the Gorges du Tarn have to offer.
Canoeing in the Gorges du Tarn
At this time of year, when holidaymakers are gradually packing their bags, the Gorges du Tarn and their river are getting a little quieter. Near Toulouse and Clermont-Ferrand, it is the perfect time to go canoeing or kayaking in Lozère, south of France.
From La Malène, discover (or rediscover) our initiation circuits. Our 8 and 11 km descents will be perfect for a short day by the riverside. Want to enjoy the weekend a little more with your family? Take the start in St Enimie or St Chély du Tarn for circuits from 13 to 24 kms. You'll have plenty of time to admire the surrounding nature, pass through picturesque villages and take the time to relax on the various beaches !
Paddle boarding
A board, a paddle, balance... and that's it! In solo or in duo, come and enjoy a weekend of paddleboarding . A hybrid of surfing and canoeing, it's another way to go down the Tarn river. Would you like to add a little spice to your weekend adventure? The giant paddle, with its adapted board, promises a slightly more fun version of paddling. In groups of 4 to 5 people per board, we propose an 8 km circuit from La Malène to the Cirque des Baumes.
Supervised activities
Let's take a look at the cliffs overlooking the Gorges du Tarn. The adventure begins in St Enimie, one of the most beautiful villages in France, no less! In collaboration with the “Bureau des Moniteurs”, we offer you the Via Ferrata activity. We provide all the safety equipment necessary for the practice of Via Ferrata: helmet, harness, pulleys... Supervised by one of the experienced instructors, vertigo and adrenaline will punctuate your day!
The Gorges du Tarn hide many other secrets in their bowels... Caving invites you into its underground world, a place of myths and legends. By the light of a lamp, observe the shadows on the walls and let your imagination take over.
At the end of summer, Canoë 2000 welcomes you to its base to offer you the best of the Gorges du Tarn. Canoeing, kayaking, paddling or discovering our supervised activities in the heart of nature : the choice is yours.
